4192: The Crowning of the Hit King

This is a documentary about Pete Rose that came out this year. I have not seen it yet, but I have heard good things about it. When I do see it, I will make sure to write a review for everyone. It is full length which means it is about 2 hours long. Former teammates such as Tony Perez and Mike Schmidt talk about Pete as well as the great Cincinnati Reds announcer Marty Brennaman.

Thanks,
Joe

Andre Dawson Hall of Fame Speech

I know I'm late, but PeteRoseCollector would like to extend a congratulations to Andre Dawson for being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Very well deserved. I would also like to say thank to Mr. Dawson on behalf of Pete Rose fans everywhere for his kind words about Pete. Here is the link to the video:

  Mailday!

My good friend Dave was nice enough to pick up a Rose card that I needed. Here it is, 1982 O-Pee-Chee #337

I'll get this updated and added to 1982. Thank you Dave!

Thanks,

  Viewing my collection

Whether you go to cards, memorabilia, or oddball, everything is clickable thumbnails. Click on it and you will see a larger image and a description/information about the item. If you have the time, check them all out.

When viewing cards, you will notice that there are some with backs and others without. I will be adding back to the years that are missing them as time allows. 1964-1980 have backs for everything that isn't blank, 1987-2008 (plus autographs and game used) are the same way. There are already some mixed in those years, but the majority still only have a front image.

Thanks,
Joe
